You are so inspiring, thanks for posting this blog. Are you able to share how you have created some of these gifts. I think I might give the comets a crack. I really agree with you about making gifts for children and with children especially the kind you make, but I get in a tangle when I start things – I think too complicated I think.
    Looking forward to reading more!

    • Hah! you sound like me. I really did just think too much about whichever project and then got put off. Then I looked hard at how things were made and realised they really weren’t that complicated. Plus I always thought there was a way you HAD to do things….which is wrong…you can do anything any way, there are no rules.
I am happy to help you out when you need it and I will try and include some instructions sometimes [when i have time!]
Do you need instructions for the comets?
I find youtube great for learning different stitches…it’s even how I learnt to cast off my knitting.
I do have very clever people around me and craft groups are a great place to start meeting like-minded people. Steiner ones are particularly good because they make such cooooool stuff for children.

Oooooo we love our Steiner playgroup, we are off to the markets at our local this afternoon and may be I will find some more crafters to learn from too. I have just mentioned you in my latest post. You have inspired me! Thank you x
